(knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: no idea Another training session at lakeside! tried out a smaller litre board approx 175 very tippy kept falling off totally different to the starboard starts I had been using though must confess got slightly addicted when wind did blow a little it took off and that was on a 4.7m sail very light wind and a 14.5st bloke I managed to stay on tack and gybe albeit no finesse at all by then end of the session but hey when I learned to walk I fell over loads of times but it never occurred to me to stop trying now have pumped muscles from getting on/off all the time can see why people get addicted still not tried my own board yet plans as follows inland lake a couple of times then I'm holiday with family so I will get a few goes hopefully ! then down to the coast southend area with instructor |
